Partner highlight: Victoria University Wellington
Victoria University Wellington and the Βι¶ΉΣ³» share strong links in an number of areas including research links in the areas of sustainability and the digital humanities.
Against a backdrop of homeworking and travel restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic, a team of students from Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) and Βι¶ΉΣ³» worked together over several weeks to make their recommendations to university leaders on the sustainability of university international activities, including the largescale, short-term movement of students around the world, and travel to pursue academic research. VUW and Βι¶ΉΣ³» staff worked closely to develop this student-led project concept, and to support our students in developing their ideas and in video production techniques.
Through delivering a session at our Global Partnerships conference, our team helped our partners from across the world to understand student perspectives of Internationalisation and sustainability, and put the student voice at the heart of our conversations.
VUW is a valued mobility partner with students from our schools of Media Arts and Humanities and the Βι¶ΉΣ³» Business School attending VUW for a year or a term since 2016.
