Discounts and benefits
As a former Βι¶ΉΣ³» student, you are entitled to a range of benefits including: ongoing careers support, invitations to academic and social events, access to the Library and special rates for our Sports Centre and accommodation in the local area.
As an alum, you can benefit on discounts on postgraduate study. See our Βι¶ΉΣ³» Alumni Award for details of the tuition fee discount you’re eligible for. If you are a 2024 Βι¶ΉΣ³» Graduate you can also apply to the Βι¶ΉΣ³» Graduate Scholarship. This scholarship is for 2024 Βι¶ΉΣ³» graduates, with a First Class or Upper Second Class Bachelors degree, progressing directly to an eligible Masters at Βι¶ΉΣ³» in September 2024.
Alumni are also eligible for a 20% discount on our online Masters courses.
The Institute of Development Studies also offer a 20% discount to any Βι¶ΉΣ³» alumni for the following short courses:
We also send out a with the latest research, events and alumni news as well as our annual publication, Falmer, which you can choose to receive in hard copy or electronic form.
