The Βι¶ΉΣ³» Festival of Ideas is a dynamic and engaging programme of talks, events and activities, from the School of Media, Arts and Humanities at the Βι¶ΉΣ³».

The Festival of Ideas has been developed as a platform to connect students, staff and the community. It aims to harness the transformative power of the arts and humanities to fashion new ways of thinking about the past, present and future.

The inaugural Festival took place across four days in 2021 with a four-day programme of more than thirty events. Since then, the Festival has consisted of a programme of on-campus talks and events co-created by Βι¶ΉΣ³» staff and students held between March-April and a curated programme of events hosted at venues across the region as part of the official Brighton Festival programme in May.

The 2024 Festival programme comprises a week of on-campus student-led activities between 22-27 April and six events showcasing Βι¶ΉΣ³» research as part of the Brighton Festival in May.
