The aim of this module is to develop subject-specific academic practices so that you are equipped to communicate, create and research effectively in your subject discipline. It will also develop your transferable skills for life beyond Βι¶ΉΣ³»­.

The academic practices and skills you develop include:

  • recognising and producing a line of argumentation
  • referencing and academic integrity
  • critical reading/listening and note-taking
  • effective literature/source searching
  • presenting.
