Collection Description
Catherine Williamson was mayor of Canterbury
(1938–40) and contested parliamentary elections as a Common Wealth
candidate at Ashford (1943) and Canterbury (1945). Her papers record
the activities of the Common Wealth Party in Kent between 1942 and
1945.
