Postgraduate Researcher Recruitment and Funding Sub-Committee

The Postgraduate Researcher Recruitment & Funding Sub-Committee (PGR RFSC) is the sub-committee of Postgraduate Researcher Sub-Committee (PGRSC) responsible for overseeing the PGR recruitment strategy and funding opportunities.

Remit

The PGR RFSC's terms of reference are available here, and are reviewed annually. Broadly, the PGR RFSC is responsible for developing and implementing an institutional postgraduate researcher (PGR) recruitment plan, promoting widening participation, and overseeing the University’s management of and involvement in major training grants, including consortia arrangements.

Colleagues wishing to submit an item for discussion at a meeting of the PGR RFSC should contact pgr-scholarships@sussex.ac.uk in good time before the meeting at which they wish their item to be discussed. In all cases, the deadline for papers is two weeks prior to the meeting.
