Introduction to Research Impact in the Arts & Humanities

This in-person, half-day session will offer participants a grounding in the key principles of research impact in Arts & Humanities disciplines. Through a combination of interactive activity, discussion and presentations, participants will consider: examples of impact in their subject areas; the benefits of embedding impact into research from the onset; and guidance on integrating these considerations into their own work.
- For researchers with an emerging understanding of impact, curious about what impact looks like in their discipline, and why it's important (including to funders!),
- You'll learn about working more effectively with non-academic stakeholders, and planning mutually-beneficial impact projects
- Delivered by former AHRC Senior Evidence Manager Helen Duffy
- Includes hot & cold vegetarian/vegan lunch and refreshments!
- Open to faculty and PGRs.
